My journey into photography started in a way I never could have predicted. As a junior in college pursuing my BFA in musical theatre, I found myself in desperate need of headshots. I was studying in a small town, miles from any major city, and as a broke college student, professional photos were out of the question. Soon, I realized that many of my peers were in the same boat, all entering the industry and needing headshots too. So, I took matters into my own hands. What began as a necessity quickly blossomed into a passion that would eventually shape my career.
 

After graduation, I returned to Milwaukee with no clients, no reputation—just me, my camera, and a fresh determination to make it work. Drawing from my theatre background, I embraced the mindset of commit to the bit. For the first eight months, I said yes to every session that came my way, driven by a new dream and an unshakable will to succeed. And, as they say, the rest is history!
